Reunited

Alex Gilbert spent the first 2 years of his life in a Russian orphanage before being adopted to a new family and life in New Zealand. 20 years later Alex embarked on a life changing journey to track down and then reunite with his birth parents in Russia. He documented the whole experience on video and posted it on Facebook. In less than 2 days, Alex's video received over 2 million views and he was inundated by 'adoptees' from around the world – all desperate to find their missing families.

Alex and his I'm Adopted community has since helped dozens of people find their missing families.
